Please read these Terms before using the Site. By using novaanimexl.org (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Who we are and what the Site offers

Nova Anime XL (“we”, “us”, or “our”) runs an informational website about Nova Anime XL and related Nova community checkpoints by Crody (including Nova Orange XL and Nova Cartoon XL landing pages).

The Site currently provides:

  • educational pages about the Nova Anime XL family
  • a blog
  • a playground page with embedded third-party demos
  • links to third-party model pages and communities (for example Civitai)

The Site does not currently provide:

  • user accounts or logins
  • paid subscriptions or generation credits
  • direct hosting/sale of model weight downloads from our own store

Browsing this Site does not transfer ownership of any third-party model files to you.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. If you use the Site for an organization, you confirm you can bind that organization.

3. License to use the Site

We give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Site for personal or internal informational purposes, under these Terms.

You may not:

  • overload, scrape in an abusive way, or disrupt the Site
  • try to break into our systems
  • reverse engineer non-public parts of the Site except where the law allows
  • use the Site to break the law or harm other people’s rights

4. Third-party model pages and external tools

4.1 Model files and licenses

Nova Anime XL, Nova Orange XL, Nova Cartoon XL, and related files are published by their authors (for example on Civitai) under their own rules and licenses. Author cards commonly restrict commercial use of unedited generations and allow non-monetized sharing. Base-model licenses (Illustrious / related open licenses) may add further limits. Downloading and using those files is between you and the rights holders. Always read the model card and license before commercial use.

4.2 Playground demos

Embedded demos on /playground are operated by third parties. We do not control their uptime, queues, model lists, content filters, or data handling. Your use of those demos is subject to the third party’s terms and policies.

External links are for convenience only. We are not responsible for third-party sites or tools.

5. Acceptable use

When you use the Site or linked third-party resources, you agree not to:

  • create or seek child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors (real or fictional)
  • violate copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights
  • create unlawful content under applicable law
  • make non-consensual intimate imagery, harmful deepfakes, harassment, or threats
  • attack or abuse infrastructure (ours or third parties’)

We may block access or cooperate with providers/authorities when needed to protect the Site or comply with law.

6. Intellectual property

Site branding, layout, and original writing on novaanimexl.org belong to us or our licensors. Third-party model names, sample images, trademarks, and weights belong to their owners. Sample gallery images on this Site may come from public community galleries under the model’s license terms; they are used for informational illustration only.

7. Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • third-party pages or demos linked from the Site will remain available or accurate
  • model outputs generated elsewhere will meet any quality or legal standard

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR THIRD-PARTY LINKS.

9. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Site or content you generate or upload through third-party tools linked from the Site.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The effective date / lastModified field will change when we do.
